Our transmission gave out in the city and we looked up places to bring the car right from our phone. We chose this AAMCO because of the reviews we read and the proximity to our home. They actually even offered to tow the vehicle for me, although I'd already had my insurance company pick it up. Regardless, I thought it was a very nice gesture. We spoke with Charlie and he was very helpful in getting us in without an appointment. Even with a complicated transmission problem, everything was timely and our car is running great now.
They got me right in and the mechanic knew exactly what was wrong with my car just by driving it around the block. I had to take it to 3 other places before that and nobody could figure it out. The manager, Charlie was great and so were the mechanics. Not only would I definitely recommend them to a friend, but I even took a handful of cards to pass them around. They were dynamite!!!

I consider four stars for a mechanic to be way above average; I tend to be skeptical and never come out with a receipt less than a few hundred, so it's kind of a cynical place for me. AAMCO, however, is friendly and pretty quick. I felt their prices/charges were very low and they are reliable.Friendly and good service
Excellent experience @ AAMCO They diagnosed my issue and rather than tell me I had an expensive repair coming, was up front and honest simple, inexpensive solution to resolve my issue. I highly recommend their services.
Another car repair company told me that my starter was broken and didn't even attempt to jump me when my car broke down in a parking lot. I had my car towed to AAMCO instead of the place that the truck wanted to take me. After dropping it off, I got a call first thing the next morning telling me that my issue had nothing to do with my starter and the other company was trying to rip me off. My battery, which was the problem, was replaced quickly at a third of the price of what a starter would have cost, and I was on my way.
My car's transmission was broken by the people who changed my oil. I was concerned about the cost but I heard the AAMCO was reputable and to be trusted. They gave me a great price considering it is a transmission and fixed it within a week. The manager even spoke to the oil company that broke my car. I really appreciate them taking care of me and my car.
